What happens

Jane, her father Professor Porter, and Cecil Clayton are stranded in the African jungle after their ship is lost. They are making a hut habitable, building shelves and a cupboard and sorting out the clothes they salvaged. While working, they discover a diary and a shelf of old belongings that suggest an earlier shipwreck and an English family, Lord and Lady Grace, who once lived on this spot. Their talk turns to the fate of that family and the famous Grace locket. The guide stops before the story's later events. Tarzan appears in the opening scene.

A hut in the African jungle, where the shipwrecked group have settled after losing their ship.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
