What happens
Tarzan of the apes, a man raised in the jungle, watches the strangers who have landed on the island and begins to suspect they mean trouble. He follows a pirate named King through the underbrush after the man sets off toward the clearing where the professor's party has made camp. Tarzan lies in wait on a low branch, ready for the moment King passes beneath him. The transcript breaks off as the pirates argue over a treasure chest and the danger from an approaching ship.
A jungle island on a bay, with a hut on a clearing near the shore, where a professor's party has settled in, and a beach where a pirate crew has landed.
Characters: Tarzan, King, Professor
Listen for: Tarzan's silent approach through the trees as he tracks the pirate King and ties him up.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
