What happens

Tarzan and Jane are in the jungle, where Tarzan slowly learns to speak English as Jane teaches him words for everyday things. Jane, sent to fetch grass for a new rope, returns to the hut and finds her father's voice in the distance. Meanwhile Professor Porter, Clayton and Darnay, captured by a cannibal tribe, discuss their predicament after a black man tells them a white woman saved his life. The men are alarmed to learn a ceremony is being prepared in the compound. Tarzan's attention turns to the rope he is weaving, while Jane is left alone in the hut when a giant black warrior opens the door behind a party of savage warriors.

A jungle with a great waterhole, a treehouse hut and the cannibal tribe's compound.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
