What happens

Tarzan is held captive in the city of Tor after the Torian warriors kill Major Bertonechely during an escape attempt, and he has challenged Mungo to a fight to the death. Ataya, the white queen of Tor, questions Tarzan and his companions after Darno and Uka disappear from the paddocks of the war elephants, where they had been held. Tarzan denies knowing how the two men got away. Ataya orders her captain Rutan to search the city and the jungle, and she sends Tarzan and O'Rourke to the jewel pit to labor in chains until the day of the combat. Later, Darno and Uka make their slow way through the dark jungle, pursued by a hungry lion.

The savage city of Tor and the surrounding jungle, at night.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
