What happens

Tarzan, Jane's companions and their party are captured by a band of huge yellow-skinned giants after escaping along an underground river and searching for a route to the valley below. Led by a warrior named Mungo, the giants disarm the group and bring them on elephants to a walled city ruled by a queen called Ataya. The captives are placed in a chamber to await her, and their options for resisting are weighed against the danger to Jane.

A jungle and an underground river, then a walled city of grey stone in a barren valley, ruled by Queen Ataya.

Characters: Tarzan, Mungo, Ataya, O'Rourke, Dr. Wong, Janet, Darno

Listen for: Mungo's demand that the captives surrender their fire sticks, and the debate over whether to resist or wait for the queen.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
