What happens
Tarzan and Darnell come upon Major Burton Ashley, Genet Burton, Dr. Wong Tai and Terrence O'Rourke, four Europeans lost and near exhaustion in an uncharted part of the South Central African jungle. Tarzan kills a gigantic yellow-skinned creature in their defense and leads them to a distant riverbank. Downstream, the whole party is overpowered and captured by a band of strange yellow-skinned giants, and Tarzan and Darnell manage to free themselves. The captives are bound at the riverbank as the savages prepare to feed them to crocodiles. Tarzan swings down to rescue O'Rourke, and the group escapes in a dugout canoe down the river, which the yellow men pursue along the banks.
