What happens

Keddie, a young warrior of the Karmiki tribe, is chosen by the High Priest of Miyamoto to kill the Reverend Andrew Collier, a missionary whose church is gaining followers at the expense of the moon god. Keddie is in love with Amma, a Christian convert, which complicates his loyalties. Tarzan arrives in the village and tries to keep the peace between the missionary, the High Priest, and the young warrior. Tensions rise as the missionary is accused of stealing the sapphire from the moon god's temple, and the village's chief prepares to hold a trial. Tarzan works to uncover the truth behind the trouble.

A Karmiki village in the Congo, where a moon god temple stands opposite a small bamboo mission church, around Christmas.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
