What happens
Mrs. Warren Trowbridge of New York arrives at Gleebes, an English country house, convinced her son Wallace has been taken in by a mistaken identity. Lady Pancoast insists she is Wallace's mother and that Wallace has been staying there, and the two women confront each other while Lord Pancoast is kept to his room. Mrs. Trowbridge demands an explanation and threatens to call the police, while Lord Pancoast tries to explain how the household came to be as it is. The episode is part of the Suspense series, and this excerpt covers only the opening act.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
