What happens

Justin Driscoll and his wife Emily, an American couple living in New York in 1939, hear their old friend Orrin Scrogs claim he has built a working time machine. Orrin proposes sending them back to 1908 in Linz, Austria, where they once met a young Adolf Hitler. Emily insists on going, and Justin reluctantly agrees. Their first encounter with Hitler there is rude and unsettling. The episode is part of the Suspense series, which was first broadcast on 1960-09-25 and starred Vera Allen and Sato Sortega as Emily and Justin Driscoll, with Ted Osburn as Orrin Scrogs.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
