What happens

Sid Latch and Iris, a young couple, take shelter from a blizzard in a sheep wagon with a man named Roger Miles, a celebrated cowboy. A violent quarrel breaks out after Miles drinks heavily and takes a quilt meant for the lambs. Suspense is a radio drama series, and this episode aired on April 24, 1948. Afterward, Sid and Iris drive off with Miles's body and his money, and their dog Bo, while the police begin a search for them. Their attempts to pass through the town of Sheridan and blend in do not go as planned.

A sheep wagon in a blizzard in Montana, then the town of Sheridan and its surroundings.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
