What happens

Diana Singer and her fiancé Henry Lutcher travel through a storm to a remote house to claim part of the estate of Diana's late uncle, as his will requires them to spend a night there. The house is dark and eerie, and the butler, Gerald, is strangely reticent about his master. Henry discovers a diary and begins to learn of a tiger eye ring said to hold the secret of the uncle's power and fortune. Suspense: The Luck of the Tiger Eye aired on December 3, 1961, starring Joan Lorring and Leon Janney. The story is adapted from a written work by Jack Butrum for the series.

A remote, dimly lit house on a hill during a storm, with a family crypt behind it.

Characters: Diana Singer, Henry Lutcher, Gerald, Commander Colby Quinn

Listen for: Gerald's explanation of the tiger eye ring and how the uncle used it.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
