What happens

Alexander Jordan, an elderly farmer, changes his will to leave his farm and savings to his wife Martha, and arranges for a bell in his crypt in case he is buried alive. His nephew Ramsey Jordan resents being cut out and grows impatient as the week before the will can be probated passes. The story is part of the Suspense series, first broadcast on September 2, 1962, and features Connie Lemke, William Mason, Edgar Staley, and Paul McGrath. Mr. Rutledge, the family lawyer, handles the will and the funeral arrangements, while tensions rise between Ramsey and Martha over the farm and the bell wired into their bedroom.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
