What happens

Hoxton lives quietly next door to his friend Dr. George Roberts, and the two spar over the plot's details. Suspense is a radio drama series, and this episode was first broadcast on March 23, 1943. Roland Young plays Hoxton, with Peggy Conklin as Patricia. Hoxton's imaginary murder plot begins to echo a real threat as he is led away from his home.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
