What happens
Jerry Malloy, a young man who lives in a basement apartment in Harlem, witnesses a hit-and-run on his street and finds a bloodied license plate at his doorstep. He and his friend Boots decide to try to sell the plate to the driver, who turns out to be a well-dressed man named Edward Keller. Keller arranges a meeting, and Jerry is drawn into a conversation about a missing packet of heroin. The story is part of the Suspense series, broadcast on May 3, 1959, and stars Jackie Cooper. This is as far as the transcript goes.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
