What happens

Highway patrolman Art Patterson rides with the experienced Craig Hollister on a dangerous mountain road known for crashes. During a night patrol, they chase a black sports car driven recklessly, and Hollister fears it may be driven by his wife, Debbie. The pursuit tightens on the slick grade, and a patrol partner has been forced off the road. Hollister's suspicions and his grip on his nerves are tested as the chase continues, with the highway patrol setting up a roadblock ahead. The episode is part of the radio series Suspense and stars Everett Sloan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
