What happens
Detective Johnny Dresser investigates the disappearance of $60,000 taken from the Summit Finance Company by two holdup men. Dresser is suspected by colleagues, including his partner Sloppy Peters, and he goes looking for Peters and for the two unidentified muscle men. He tracks down leads at a bowling alley, a pool parlor and a bar, and is held at gunpoint by two men he recognizes, Phil and Weasel. Forced into a junkyard, Dresser must find where the money is hidden. The episode is from the Suspense series, originally aired on June 19, 1960, and this is one of the stories in the series' run.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
