What happens
Frederick Carlton Haskell, a famous foreign correspondent and author, is publicly admired but privately domineering toward his wife Anne. When Anne demands a divorce, Haskell is baffled and turns to his old army buddy Jerry for help. Jerry agrees to play along, and Haskell arranges a confrontation with the man Anne claims to love. The episode is from the series Suspense, first broadcast on September 8, 1957, and stars Victor Jory. The story builds through a series of tense exchanges and a surprising meeting between Haskell and a boisterous Texan named J. Stuart Tolliver.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
