What happens

Former jet pilot Kentman answers a classified ad from Science Associates, and after a frightening locked-room test in which an armed man in a mask appears, he is selected for an experiment. Dr. Jessica Frost and Professor Baird offer him a three-year program to train his senses through blindness, deafness, and silence, promising a rare sixth sense. Kentman is tested in pitch darkness and sound isolation, and his abilities grow far beyond ordinary limits. The episode is Suspense's 1957 radio play Man from Tomorrow, written by Irving Reese, with Frank Lovejoy in the lead; it aired September 1, 1957.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
