What happens

Tom, a traveler, meets a young woman named Susan at a London station and helps her with her bags, and she claims him as her husband to get past customs. On the night ferry and train to Paris, the pair grow acquainted, but Susan's stories do not hold together. A shot shatters a window in her compartment, and Tom begins to suspect she is involved in something dangerous. Suspense is built around who Susan really is and what is being sought aboard the train. This episode of Suspense, first broadcast on 1960-08-14, stars William Redfield as Tom and Elaine Ross as Susan.

A London station, the cross-Channel ferry, and the night train to Paris, followed by a Paris sidewalk cafe.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
