What happens
Rosie Jones, a nightclub singer on 52nd Street, is pressed by agent Ray Cram to take a job working with Terry Dane, a young singer whose act earns a million dollars a year. Cram warns Rosie to keep away from the shy, moody boy, and she privately wonders why Terry never seems to respond to her. Terry, meanwhile, becomes fixated on a dead girl singer named Connie and grows increasingly unstable around Rosie. The transcript covers only the first part of the story, and the episode is a 1958 installment of Suspense starring Margaret Whiting, first broadcast on March 2, 1958.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
