What happens

Jeffrey Bruno, a Greenwich Village mystery writer, wakes on a train to Philadelphia with no memory of how he got there, carrying a brown topcoat and wallet that belong to a man named John Blake. Back in New York he learns that Blake is wanted for the murder of Rufus Carrington, a wealthy old man. Jeffrey turns to his neighbor Rosalie and then to a psychiatrist, trying to understand whether he is somehow Blake. The episode is part of the Suspense radio series, presented by Auto-Lite with Gregory Peck in the lead, and this guide covers only the opening stretch of the story.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
