What happens

Harry Jonas, a young drifter, is hired as a stagehand at the Pageant Theatre by manager Charlie Prince. He soon meets the illusionist Constantine, his assistant Marietta, and the wardrobe mistress Anna. Harry becomes convinced that Constantine is a murderer who buried his predecessor, Nino, in Wingate Cemetery, and that Marietta is in danger. Constantine's dangerous act, with its guillotine and knife-throwing, becomes the setting for Harry's growing fear. The story is part of the Suspense radio series, broadcast on March 25, 1962, and stars Philip Sterling as Harry Jonas.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
