What happens
Jack Benton, a friend of the Laramies, Howard and Anne, is drawn into a tense evening at Howard's laboratory, where Howard is testing a pill said to let people read each other's minds. Suspense, produced by William N. Robeson and starring Barry Kroger, first aired on July 20, 1958. Jack takes one of the capsules and soon finds that he can hear the thoughts of those around him. The strain of hearing other people's thoughts grows heavier as the evening goes on, and tension builds between the three friends as their personal troubles come to the surface.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
