What happens

Lizzie Borden's sister Emma, and the household maid, face a tense house where the unsolved murders of their father and stepmother remain unresolved. Emma prepares to leave for Fairhaven, unable to bear living with Lizzie any longer. A visiting female reporter from Cripple Creek, Colorado, arrives at the house seeking an interview and presses Emma with questions about the killings, the missing weapon, and the household's routine. Emma is uneasy and reluctant to speak, and Lizzie watches and listens from upstairs. The story is presented as a dramatization of what might have happened in the case, with Paula Winslow, Virginia Gregg and Irene Tedrow starring in the broadcast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
