What happens

Postmaster Douglas Jordan receives a phone call warning that a time bomb has been mailed to someone in town and will go off at 2:30 that afternoon. He assembles his staff, including Ed Williams, Joe Fox and Doug Stewart, and they begin sorting through packages in the post office and gathering parcels from the delivery trucks. The men work against the clock, questioning carriers and tracing deliveries while the hours pass. Victor Perrin stars in this episode of Suspense, a radio drama first broadcast on May 22, 1956.

Listen for: The caller's warning and the mounting countdown as the postal staff searches for the package before the timer runs out

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
