What happens
Paul Marlow, a bank teller, needs money to pay for a nurse for his wife Carol, who must stay in bed before the birth of their baby. Pressed by his bookie friend Eddie, Paul arranges to meet the criminal Rocky Perea, and the two plan to rob an elderly couple, the Forbes, who have just withdrawn a large sum from the bank. Paul's conscience begins to trouble him as the plan moves toward its execution on Christmas Eve. This episode of Suspense, aired December 21, 1950, stars Dennis Day.
