What happens
Emily Ward, a fragile and anxious wife, prepares to leave the rest home where she has been staying and go home with her husband Todd on their eighth wedding anniversary. Todd arrives to collect her, and they drive out to celebrate together. Emily grows increasingly unsure whether Todd loves her or means her harm, as she finds a box of bullets in the car, a letter from Mrs. Hallick, and a series of unsettling moments. Suspense, the radio drama series, aired this episode on 1957-05-05, with Joy La Fleur starring as Emily in the title role.
A rest home and club, then a lakeside, an Italian restaurant, a hotel dining room, and a wooded hillside parking spot, around the time of the couple's wedding anniversary.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
