What happens
Pinkton Carr is struck by a car and killed on a San Francisco street, and his eldest daughter Vangie begins to suspect that the death was not an accident. Her father's new business partner, Harry Newton, arrives to develop the family's land, and Vangie is drawn to him even as she wonders what he knows. Her younger sister Susie is later found dead, and the household's doubts about Harry deepen. The episode is the Suspense radio drama broadcast on February 21, 1948, starring Robert Ryan and Ruth Warwick. The transcript covers only the first part of the play, so the outcome is not yet known.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
