What happens

Helen Brandt, a talented commercial artist, is hired as art director at the William J. Farrell advertising agency after the previous art director, Jean Thornton, falls from the agency's tower. Helen soon finds herself uneasy in the office, where secretary Marie Harris seems to know more than she admits. Strange occurrences unsettle Helen, and her growing feelings for the agency's head, Bill Farrell, make her question what he is hiding. This adaptation of the Suspense radio drama, first broadcast on February 20, 1947, starred Anne Baxter, with Kathy Lewis as Marie and Wally Maher as Bill Farrell. The story is presented with its suspenseful tone intact.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
