What happens
Maud Haskin returns to her apartment on a rainy evening, only to find a stranger inside and no sign of her husband, Harry. A neighbor tells her that Harry was murdered with an ice pick in that kitchen nearly a week ago, and Maud begins to doubt what she knows of her own life. Her confusion grows as she moves between the park, the apartment and the street, and as Harry seems unaware of any trouble. This is Suspense's broadcast of A Week Ago Wednesday, first aired on November 29, 1945, with Nancy Kelly in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
