What happens

Suspense presents A Shroud for Sarah, starring Lucille Ball, in a play by Emile C. Tepperman. Ex-convict George Monk and his former partner Sarah Martell meet again after ten years, and he confides that he has just killed a bookkeeper during a robbery. They plan to flee together with seventeen thousand dollars, and Sarah sets about hiding the money. Her husband, Peter Martell, a candidate for governor, watches her closely and grows suspicious, while Sarah and Dr. Varney become entangled in a scheme involving the campaign.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
