What happens
Rowan, an American lieutenant, is sent to Cuba to find General Calixto Garcia and deliver a message about the coming war with Spain. In Jamaica he first meets Dr. Jose Rubio, an exiled Cuban patriot, who agrees to help him reach the Cuban guerrilla forces. The pair travel by fishing boat to the Cuban coast, where Rowan must cross the jungle on foot and find horses. Suspense, which broadcast this episode on CBS, was in its eleventh year, and Richard Widmark stars in the title role of this dramatic recreation.
