What happens
Eddie Lewis, a lonely young man in New York, meets a charming woman named Jolie Andrews at a penny arcade while fishing with an older man called Horace. Eddie falls for her and proposes, but the next day he learns she has died in a fall from a hotel window. Suspicious of the police's quick ruling of suicide, Eddie sets out to learn what really happened. The play is the Suspense episode titled A Guy Gets Lonely, aired on April 5, 1945, and stars Dane Clark as Eddie Lewis.
