What happens
Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen return from the Caribbean on a railroad express when five million dollars in stolen crown jewels crash through the window of a compartment, nearly striking a young girl sitting alone inside. Kent leaves the train to trace the speeding cars seen near the tracks, leaving Jimmy behind with the gems. Meanwhile a masked figure called the Yellow Mask boards the train and questions the frightened girl, who insists she saw nothing. A railroad detective searches the passengers for Kent, and a wounded man at a roadside fire describes an attack over the jewels. This is a 1940 episode of The Adventures of Superman, first aired on 1940-10-09, and the transcript ends with the Yellow Mask confronting Jimmy and a porter in their compartment.
