What happens
Clark Kent and young Jimmy Olsen are investigating a series of mysterious deaths at a logging camp deep in the North Woods, where four lumberjacks have died and the camp is gripped by fear of the legendary white plague. After Kent and Jimmy are shot at while driving a sled back to camp, they begin examining the rifles kept at the camp. Their inquiry turns to a logger named Olaf and to the camp's manager, Mr. Harmon. When the two boys do not return from an evening walk, Kent follows their footprints in the snow, which end abruptly in an open clearing. The episode ends on this cliffhanger. Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
