What happens
Superman rescues the passengers of a flying boat that has crash-landed in a rough sea, including reporter Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen. As the sinking plane settles lower, the passengers wait on its wing and pray, until a figure appears in the sky. Superman lifts the flying boat from the water and carries it on his back toward England, but as he crosses London he is mistaken for an enemy aircraft and caught in searchlights. The episode is part two of a two-part story from The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on September 16, 1942.
