What happens
Clark Kent and Jimmy Olsen investigate the disappearance of Lois Lane, the Daily Planet reporter, after she vanished in a taxi while heading to the Markham house in the suburbs. Inspector Henderson questions the taxi driver, Joe Ross, who tells a strange story about a tall man in black driving a funeral hearse who crowded his cab to the curb. The driver claims Lois fell asleep in the back seat and that the stranger asked for a cemetery that Henderson cannot find in any directory. Later, Jimmy sits at home with a Siamese cat that Lois had received as a Christmas gift, and the cat appears to speak to him, warning him of danger.
