What happens
Herbert Calkins, a retired Scotland Yard detective, is convinced that Clark Kent is really Superman, and he sets a trap to prove it. Lois Lane helps him by arranging for Kent to come to the Metropolis Safety Vault Company on an errand. Kent is locked inside a vault, which the detective believes no ordinary man could survive for long. The episode is from The Adventures of Superman, a radio series, and it aired on July 24, 1946. The transcript breaks off as the trap closes, so the outcome of the trap is not yet known.
