What happens
Jimmy Olsen and Poco, injured after their space shell crashed near the North Pole, are found by two Eskimos, Utak and Nulier, who shelter them in their igloo. German soldiers arrive led by a colonel, who questions the strangers and suspects them of being American intelligence agents. Jimmy insists he is a newspaper reporter for the Daily Planet in Metropolis, and the colonel orders them taken away on dog sleds. Meanwhile, Clark Kent learns from Miss Backrack at the Daily Planet that a Coast Guard cutter, the Cartwright, reported seeing the space shell in the North Atlantic, and that the Cartwright has stopped answering radio calls. The Superman series continues in this radio serial, with the episode aired on February 20, 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
