What happens
Superman searches the sky for the Space Shell, which carries Jimmy Olsen and Professor Pocoff thousands of miles away after their fuel runs low and the craft begins to plummet. Meanwhile in the Arctic, two young Eskimo, Utak and his sister Nuliya, rescue the unconscious Jimmy and Pocoff from the wreck and take them to their igloo. The pair wake to learn they are at the North Pole and that the region is under the control of German occupiers, who guard the radio and watch the native people closely. Jimmy and Pocoff plan an escape, but the Germans have begun to arrive, and the episode ends with the newcomers waiting for what comes next. The series The Adventures of Superman was broadcast in the 1940s.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
