What happens
Clark Kent, Jimmy Olsen and Tumbleweed Jones search the deserted ghost town of Dead Man's Gulch for the source of a series of silver arrows, each carrying a rhyming riddle. After finding a young woman, Mary Lewis, bound in a shack with a copy of the arrow, the group receives a warning note telling them to stop searching. Clark and Tumbleweed pursue a figure outside, and back inside the group is attacked in the dark by a white-bearded man. The story continues as they confront the old prospector Hopeful Jake, who admits he has been hunting for something in the gulch for thirty years. This is part five of The Adventures of Superman, a 1941 radio episode first broadcast on November 7, 1941.
