What happens
Superman and Inspector Henderson search for publisher John Grayson after he is abducted by two men posing as police officers. Grayson's butler reports the maroon sedan that took his employer away, and Clark Kent relays the details to Henderson. Their search from the air covers highways along River Drive and the metropolis bridge without success. Meanwhile, on his island estate, the munitions dealer Rufus Pelley holds Grayson and editor Perry White prisoner, demanding that Grayson sell him controlling shares of the Daily Planet so he can undermine the World Peace Federation. Grayson refuses. The episode is part thirteen of the Adventures of Superman serial, broadcast in August 1946.
