What happens
Clark Kent warns Inspector Henderson that the fragment of Kryptonite kept in the Metropolis Museum is in danger, and police guards are sent to protect it. The Scarlet Widow is planning to seize the glowing green piece, which has stripped Superman of his powers. Her accomplice Sniggers, a cockney thief, slips into the museum by threatening a policeman with a knife. Clark Kent and Sergeant Mulrooney realize something is wrong when the policeman has disappeared. This episode of The Adventures of Superman, first aired on September 27, 1945, is part two of a serial, and the transcript ends mid-story.
