What happens

Superman and Jimmy Olsen search the underground city beneath the surface of the moon for Pogo and Professor Twiddle, who vanished in a tunnel. They find the moon dwellers, small friendly creatures who have chosen Pulley Rinster as their king. Professor Twiddle warns that millions of savage red ants are advancing through the tunnels toward the city. Superman leaves to hold back the swarm, while the others watch the ants gather at the water-filled moat surrounding the city. The episode ends with the ants building leaf boats to cross the water, and the heroes left wondering how to stop them.

An underground city beneath the surface of the moon, reached through tunnels and surrounded by a water-filled moat, with dwarf red trees giving off an eerie light.

Characters: Superman, Jimmy Olsen, Pogo, Professor Twiddle, Pulley Rinster

Listen for: Professor Twiddle's warnings about the red ant armies and how they cross the water barrier, and Pogo's reactions to the approaching danger.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
