What happens
Perry White, editor of the Daily Planet, is found shot in his home in Willow Heights, and his servant Poco is missing. White had been lending Poco large sums of money and would not say why Poco needed it. Sheriff Johnson and his deputy Ed Smith search for Poco while White insists the man is in great danger. The episode closes with Poco locked inside a refrigerator car on a moving freight train, with Superman unaware of his plight. The series is The Adventures of Superman, first aired on December 4, 1946.
