What happens
Lois Lane, a reporter for the Daily Planet, suspects that Miss Louise, an elderly woman, is being swindled by a fortune teller named Zara and a lawyer named Harris. Posing as Miss Louise's niece, Lois visits Zara, who claims to see the future in a crystal ball and insists he knows nothing about the lawyer's letter. Lois then tells Clark Kent about her suspicions and gives him the letter. Clark wants to verify the inheritance claim before accusing anyone, and he sets out to check the estate in South Africa, while Lois is left to wait at home. Meanwhile, a man named Pinky, who has been following Lois, reports her whereabouts to Zara. This is the Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on January 13, 1947.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
