What happens
Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Editor White and Dr. Leander Cameron are thrown into the sea when a tanker cuts through their disabled submarine. Superman rescues them and brings them aboard the tanker. The group searches for the captain, looking to confront him about the collision. Instead they find the pilot house empty with the wheel locked on a straight course, and then a dining saloon with soup freshly served at places for twelve, yet no one in sight. The episode ends on this unexplained puzzle. The Adventures of Superman, a radio serial, first aired on December 23, 1942.
