What happens
Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen find a drifting robot in North Bay with an unconscious boy inside, and a speedboat nearly drowns them before Superman arrives to rescue them. At a doctor's house, Clark Kent gets the boy's wet costume off and the boy wakes, identifying himself as Dick Grayson. Dick says he sent a note to the Daily Planet asking for Superman and insists that only Superman can help him. Lois presses for the story while Clark tries to leave with Dick. Later, Superman speaks with Dick, who tells him that Batman has disappeared.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
