What happens
Superman and Batman, posing as Clark Kent and Bruce Wayne, track down Billy Riggs, a young gymnast they believe is the Monkey Burglar. Billy's mother tells them he has been working nights at a gymnasium run by a man called Spider and that he recently went looking for his lost medal. At a boxing gym, a fighter named Mickey Hogan points them toward Spider's apartment on 12th Street. When the heroes arrive, they find the apartment emptied, with Spider, Billy and the captive Robin all gone. Superman and Batman are left with no clear lead on where Robin has been taken.
