What happens
Clark Kent confides in Lois Lane and editor Perry White that he knows the secret of Superman, and begins to tell them how Superman came to Earth. He recounts the planet Krypton, where the scientist Jor-El warns the governing council that the planet is doomed as the sun draws it closer. The council dismisses his warnings and his plan for a spaceship. Jor-El builds a small model rocket and, as Krypton breaks apart, sends his infant son toward Earth. The episode is an installment of the radio series The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on September 25, 1945.
